This is my final for an Anniversary picture for my Chris with Quota Cleaning. I hope they will send me pictures of the art framed and let me know what the reaction was today at the party.

Sneak-A-Peak at a gift Caricature
I can’t show the whole project, until after Saturday. But here is some the high lights from the final studio Caricature. I wish I was allowed a bigger budget, but the client did not mind seeing more of a outline type of art. I was up late soo I am hitting the sack, in the mean while have a great day! I love comments soo please feel free!

Kurb Side Catering with Chef Kurt
This was a really interesting assignment, because I used to work with Kurt at Frank Crum Staffing as a Chef and he was the executive chef and manager. They had cut backs and got layed off. Wow small world my fellow face and body painting artist Christy Beem works at Time Out Pub in Seminole Fl. They gave me the exact pose to use ( another artist) and they didn’t want me deviate from. Well here it is a quicky 1-1.5 hours.
Ocean Front Magazine Sept/Aug
I just want to let you all know that I am really proud to be part of this great local magazine – Ocean Front Magazine. Geoffrey and Nelson Williams are brothers and decided to start this magazine. I really think it is great honor to be the only artist they used this issue. I really hoping to be able to convince them for a cover job very soon! Read their testimony on my testimonial section of larserarts.com
Russell Crowe for Caricaturama 3000
I was playing around in my Moleskin sketch book drawing Russell Crowe. I used Markers, Color pencils and then clean up in photoshop. Go check out on Facebook “Caricaturama 3000 showdown” and It is fun to see what other artist do.

Welcome to LarsERArts.com
I’m so happy to have my new website and blog up and running. It has all of the features that I wanted to offer: including contact forms, testimonials, a live calendar, proposal request form, galleries of work, a twitter feed, and links to all of my social media profiles. I signed up for Constant Contact, as I plan to send out electronic newsletters, and I also gained a new logo.
I really appreciate the collaboration with my friend Jason Longo on that logo, the site direction, and his help with getting this established on a self-hosted WordPress platform. There’s also a link to his portfolio at the bottom of every page, in case you need a website or social media management in the future. I met Jason about nine months ago at one of my events, and as pet owner, family man, tech head, entrepreneur, and artist himself – we share a lot of the same interests.
You can leave comments on the blogs and all of the portfolio pages. It’s also easier than ever to connect with me on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other sites. The social media links are all listed on the right.
There’s already been great feedback on the site, and I can’t stop looking at my portfolio and this beautiful site (even on my phone). Tell me what you think – I’d love to read your comments.
Studio Caricatures
Studio caricatures are done at my home studio, and often involve me looking at several photos for inspiration, integrating the personality and hobbies or occupation of the model, and are more detailed. I enjoy doing these so much, as they are often surprises for a special birthday or that special boss. I love to see photos of the presentation and hear about the reaction. Also when you go to send the references on the quote page (to many photos just e-mail them separate at larserarts@gmail.com), please have the faces in several different angles, and close up. If you want body situations please either help describe or send a picture of that pose. Other details such as landmarks or other objects include them as well. Ask me about a studio caricature.

Highly Rendered Caricatures in traditional and/or digital mediums

Illustration
The challenge of taking an article, movie, book, or anything that needs to be shown visually is always a thrill. There is a lot to think about when trying to make an image interesting and keeping the viewer fixated on the page. I use a lot of traditional mediums (pencil, charcoal, pastels, watercolors, gouache, acrylics, oils, and digital); but I am also really enjoying how integrating the traditional mediums with the digital age and it has really opened up my work! I like using Photoshop, to render high resolution art and Illustrator for vector images.
